![]() It was obviousy not designed for such small screens: this game is text heavy (at least if you're still learning it)!! I can't imagine playing it on a phone, to be honest. The game runs perfectly smooth and well but I don't know how it'll manage on slower tablets or phones. Mobile port is very limited and it doesn't utilize the full power of a touch screen but it's manageable enough that after few hours of gameplay I can use the interface without major errors or frustration. Now that I've googled it again I can see that there are many more modern versions available from browser to opencaesar. (Mods remove my links to where to get the game. ![]() ![]() And lo and behold! Caesar 3 has actually a decent port to mobile! You need to have PC game installed and copy its' files to the tablet. ![]() Tablets, I felt, are the best platforms for strategy and economy games.Īnd for some reason I remembered Caesar again as I first thought about which game I should try first on the tablet. I've been dreaming for one as a gaming platform for years. Obviously I couldn't understand the game and how to play it.įast forward almost 30 years and I finally get a tablet. I was but a child in Russia and constant "plebes are needed" audio prompt was a big mystery for me. I always remember my experience with Caesar.
